Eco-Passport

The market share of textiles certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 has risen steadily over recent years. Due to its high level of recognition and its wide appeal, the OEKO-TEX® certificate has become an excellent marketing tool and is often required by retailers in their terms of purchase and delivery.

The Eco-Passport provides assistance when selecting OEKO-TEX®-compliant textile auxiliaries, chemicals and preparations. Based on independent laboratory tests, the standard provides evidence that the auxiliaries used are harmless in terms of human ecology and thus offers users additional security. Certification of the finished products according to OEKO-TEX® helps to a large extent to avoid problems of harmful substances being introduced via auxiliaries or inadequate colour fastness.
